Sometime in the early decades of the 1900's a double story building was built on Girard Avenue. Since that time it has housed grocery stores, a Masonic Lodge and even a US Post Office. But since 1952, it has been home to Burns Drugs, La Jolla's oldest and most respected pharmacy.
